Introducing Jacob Green who has been with UCW Logistics since early 2025. Jacob joined UCW Logistics as Director of Sales to grow and build the sales team. Jacob’s drive and past experience will allow him to help develop a great sales team here at UCW Logistics.
Jacob Green brings over a decade of leadership and sales experience to the logistics industry. A graduate of Old Dominion University, where he played Division I football for five years, Jacob earned his degree in Business Finance before beginning his career as a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual.
Driven by a competitive mindset and passion for building strong client relationships, Jacob transitioned into freight sales with a leading 3PL, where he quickly advanced to Branch Manager for the Full Truckload division. He later joined another freight brokerage as Director of Agency Sales, playing a key role in developing some of the organization’s largest BLX agencies. Most recently, Jacob served as Vice President at a separate transportation provider, overseeing multiple East Coast branches and leading high-performing teams.
Jacob loves the logistics industry for its fast pace, dynamic challenges, and relationship-driven sales cycle — no two days are ever the same, and the opportunity to create solutions for customers is what motivates him most.
Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and brings the same team-first mentality from his football days into both his professional and personal life.
