This month’s employee spotlight is Matthew Campbell who has served as the Financial Controller for UCW Logistics for the past 8 years. Matthew has played a critical role ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and operational support across the organization. With a strong background in accounting and Matthew’s detail-oriented approach to supporting our customers, agents, and leading his team, has helped UCW develop a strong accounting team.
In his role, Matthew works closely with senior leadership and other WFV branches to support his team, budgeting, reducing days to pay, and improving operational efficiency for the accounting team. His thoughtful approach, reliability, and commitment to make tomorrow better than today makes him a trusted resource across all departments.
Matthew’s “free time” usually consists of Ubering his four kids to various sports practices and extracurriculars. When he does have true free time, Matthew likes to read a good Pat Conroy or Tom Wolfe novel or cook hibachi on their Blackstone. He’s taken up running following the UCW team training for the Charlotte Half Marathon, even running a second half in February. Now that the weather is turning his wife and him walk the neighborhood with their two Doodles, Archie and Scarlett.
