Congratulations to Dylan Sluder on his promotion to Senior Director of Technology at UCW Logistics. Dylan has played a vital role at UCW Logistics since he started in May of 2021. He has demonstrated superior expertise and provided a strategic vision for Technology at UCW. With his deep understanding of operations, customer needs, and digital transformations he has been instrumental in creating core processes that have advanced all WFV companies in their technology capabilities, all while supporting broader business goals.
Bringing experience in Supply Chain Operations in house has helped the team have a competitive edge. In his previous role Dylan was over the IT team for UCW Logistics migrating the server infrastructure to the cloud, leading the adoption of multiple Cyber Security initiatives, and upgrading network architecture for all locations to increase security and redundancy.
In Dylan’s new role he will take on additional responsibility for all companies under the WFV umbrella. This will allow a wholistic view of the company’s Technology and Cybersecurity landscape to be applied at a top-down level. Applying new technologies such as Trucker Tools, SMC3 API integrations, and Cyber Security tools to drive innovation, process improvement, and secure the companies vital systems. Over the next few months Dylan and the IT team plan to review all WFV branch locations systems and processes to identify any Cyber Security and process improvement opportunities.
